The freedom of the Internet has presented a difficult problem to academic establishments around the world.

Much of what is available on the Internet is of a very high standard, but unfortunately, there is a huge amount of unreliable information to be found as well!

This means that Wiki sites – such as Wikipedia – have been excluded by most universities as a reliable source for academic work.

It is true that much of what is on Wikipedia is of a high standard, but there is always the ability for anyone to edit the content means that material from the site must remain “out of bounds”.
